6 Inexpensive Ways to Refresh Your Room

Since being quarantined, I've tried to be as productive as possible, as I'm sure many of you have too. We're all spending way more time at home, which has made me realize the importance of creating spaces that not only brings joy but make you feel happy and cozy (now so more than ever). While having the flexibility to work from home, I decided to come down to the sunshine state and spend a little time with my parents and family. During my time in Florida I've not only learned 6 inexpensive ways to refresh any room, but have transformed my childhood bedroom, which I'd like to share with you.

In short, you can say this past month has felt like an HGTV series. My mom and I planned to take on some home improvement projects because as we all know, we have the time! To clarify, we didn't renovate the house, but simply re-decorated and made enhancements to each room. First, we set a budget because spending money is SO easy. Then, we created a vision board to get our creative juices flowing. It's really amazing what a fresh coat of paint, a couple new accessories and decluttering can do. Since undertaking this project, I've learned a lot about home improvements and become even more handy with a hammer - lol. Above all, I learned these 6 tips are affordable, easy and can give any room that added charm it's been missing.

It's not too late start a project, so if sprucing up a room or entire house is something you're interested in doing, I highly recommend it! Just so you know, some things were easier than others and I had a couple of trial and errors, but all in all, everything turned out better than I imagined. I hope you enjoy seeing my bedroom reveal below!
