Sweater Weather Outfit Inspo

Hi guys, there's only 5 days till Christmas! I can't believe the holidays are here! I flew to Florida this morning and am so excited because as you all know, there's no place like home for the holidays!

I'm frequently asked where I get my clothes from, so I thought I would quickly share my top staple stores and my sweater weather outfit inspo with all of you.

I love wearing sweaters, but as a Floridan gal, it's not always practical. Don't let the warmer climates discourage you from dressing up this holiday season. Sweater weather is upon us and I couldn't be happier. I don't know what's better.. looking fashionable or being comfy. I purchased Minkpink's Maddy Frilly Hem Sweater from South Moon Under, which is one of my all time favorite stores! My Maddy Frilly Hem Sweater has easily become one of my favorites this season. It's extremely soft (50% Viscose/ 28% Polyamide/ 22% Polyester) with a crewneck cut and ribbed knit. This beautiful sweater also has ruffled wrists and waist, which are my favorite details about it. My Maddy Frilly Hem sweater can be perfectly paired with a skirt (like I'm wearing) or a pair of high-waisted jeans/pants. It's not your typical sweater and that's what I love most about it! Hop into one of South Moon Under's locations or pop online and browse to see all of their seasonal must haves.

I decided to pair my South Moon Under sweater with my magenta red corduroy skirt I purchased from Forever 21 and brown ankle-high booties my mom surprised me with, which she got from DSW. Forever 21 is a wonderful resource and a great place to shop when your in a pinch and looking for very affordable articles of clothing. This skirt is slightly high- waisted with a back zipper and two symmetrical pockets in the front. It's a great skirt to have in your closet. It can be dressed up or dressed down and can be worn during both the fall and winter.

DSW.. may I say anymore? If you're looking for shoes, look no further. DSW has a great selection for men and women all year round.

The last thing I want to mention, which I feel is important to any look, is a great lip color. Adding a pop of color is never a bad idea, and I am a huge fan of a matted lipstick. For this look, I choose to go with a red lipstick I believe is both festive and beautiful. "All fired up" from Mac Cosmetics is one of my favorite shades of red. I wear it often and believe it to be the perfect blend of bright red with a hint of pink. It's long lasting and has a matted finish which really looks great on those of us who have olive skin tones. If you are in search for a new holiday lip color, give "All Fired Up" a chance.

Thanks for stopping in! Dress up and be cozy this Christmas, even if you'll be someplace warm. Don't let your holiday wardrobe be limited by the thermometer.
