MIRACLE ON 7TH STREET
HO HO HOORAY! 'Tis the season to check out Miracle on 7th Street! This annual holiday pop-up bar has successfully kicked off their 4th year in the District. It's located in the Shaw neighborhood right on 7th street in NW. Miracle on 7th Street, brought to you by the incredibly talented Drink Company, is leaving guest(s) feeling merry and bright. Their genius design, festive decor, generously crafted cocktails and immense amount of holiday spirit will get any Grinch's small heart to grow three times in size.
I can't think of a better place to celebrate the holiday season. There's no place like home for the holidays, but Miracle on 7th street isn't a bad place to be while your away from home. I look forward to the opening of Miracle on 7th Street each year. I love getting cozy in my ugly sweater as I sample their festively, fun cocktails, such as the "Festive For the Rest of Us" and "Snow Angels, Ice Skating, Cookie, and Snuggles" which are featured above. It's fun to rock around the Christmas bar while you throw back some "nog" shots with a handful of your dearest friends. This jolly affair has surely become a new holiday tradition of mine, and I believe it may also become one of yours.
MERRY AND BRIGHT INSIDE THE NEW YEARS EVE BALL (LITERALLY)
All is calm and bright inside the New Year's Eve Ball at Miracle on 7th Street. This is a great place to go with a couple of friends or an entire group, "the more the merrier". Due to the popularity of this bar and limited spacing, if you plan to go with a large group, I suggest going during a weekday to avoid getting your tinsels in a tangle. I would also try and get in line no later then 5:30pm because the doors open at 5:00pm and as you can imagine, is on everyone's list. If you'll be in town this holiday, consider ringing in your New Year inside of the ball itself. This ticketed party presented by Taittinger will provide festive favors, a free glass of champagne and countdown inside the ball. Doors open 9:30pm, so if you're interested, sign up fast while spots last.
Miracle on 7th Street will most definitely get you in the holiday spirit! It's a beautiful sight and you'll be happy on the night you walk into a winter wonderland. From the moment you step into the bar, you'll notice that it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas. The Elfs behind the bar do the dirty work for Santa and will whip you up a "Santa's S#!t List" or "Santa Bei Bei" depending on whether you've been naughty or nice.
Santa is coming to town and knows if you've been bad or good, so you better be good for goodness sake and come support the Smithsonian National's Zoo the night before Christmas for the Eve of the Panda. The cover will be $20.00 and 100% of the proceeds will go the the zoo as well as our beloved pandas. Mark your calendars, throw on your ugliest sweaters and head on over.
FA LA LA...
'Tis the season to twinkle, so don't miss out on the endless instagramable spots at this bar. This year, Drink Company added a festive photo booth that'll have you and your friends striking pose after pose! My girl Megan and I had a blast creating our holiday GIFs, and I know you will as well.
Thanks for reading! Wishing you a holly jolly rest of your holiday season! Deck the he halls during the best time of year and have yourself a merry little Christmas. Pop into Miracle on 7th street if you get the chance because baby, it's cold outside!
