Weekend Getaway: NYC
Happy Thursday everyone! I just got back from my NYC weekend getaway this past weekend. For those of you who don't know, I LOVE New York! Whenever I'm there, I get this nostalgic feeling that I really can't put into words. I love the hustle and bustle, the energy that fills the city and all there is to do and see, not to mention, my best friend now lives there.
I've been pretty busy the last couple of weeks - but what's new - lol. When I saw I had a free weekend, I decided to take a spontaneous trip to the city that never sleeps for a much needed girls weekend!
I took the bus up Friday night and stayed till Sunday evening. Now that I live in DC, traveling to New York is not only inexpensive, but close (4 hours). I have never been a bus girl until I discovered Bolt Bus and can travel to NY and back for under $50.
MY RTR LOOK NYC WEEKEND GETAWAY
Vail Coat - Amanda Uprichard
The Olive Saddle Bag - Marc Jacobs
Red Floral V-Neck Dress - Draper James
I have said it before and will say it again and again.. RTR is amazing! I use it all the time especially when I have a weekend getaway/trip planned or an event. For this weekend getaway, I chose items that could be worn a variety of different ways and mix and matched with the other clothes I packed. Finding versatile pieces like the items above are key when traveling because it's a great way to help you look stylish and put together while still packing light. I wore the Vail coat and Marc Jacobs purse all weekend long and the dress for brunch on Sunday! Want to give RTR Unlimited a try?
