Christmas
EVERY YEAR IS MAGICAL
NO matter how old I grow, Christmas will be a Holiday that never gets old. I love the music, the happy vibes, the decorations, the Christmas Cheer, the wrapping paper, presents and being surrounded by your family and friends. Christmas is a time where everyone gets together and there is nothing better than that. My immediate family lives in Florida, so I flew down there on December 22nd.[gallery size="full" columns="1" link="file" ids="1579,1583,1580,1584"]
CHRISTMAS COOKIES ARE A MUST!
I know... it is true. During the Holidays you are surrounded by really good (not the healthiest food). Grandma is making some of the yummiest sweets and there is always more then one dessert to choose from. Moderation is key and if you can plan some fun activities in-between your meals and snacking then sneaking in some cheat meals here and there wont go right to your hips.[gallery size="full" columns="1" link="file" ids="1581,1585"]
"CHINESE WRAP NIGHT"
This has become a personal tradition of mine and I continue to honor it every year. A few nights before Christmas my mom and I gather all of the presents we have purchased for our friends and family and lay them out in the living room. We select a Christmas movie and pull out of favorite Chinese restaurants menu. We place our order and pour each other a glass of wine and start wrapping presents as we wait for the food to be delivered. We pause to eat and then continue to sip our wine and wrap till everything is ready to be nestled under the tree. This is a special memory of mine and super convenient and tasty. Who doesn't love Chinese take out or wine for that matter. Instead of just rushing to wrap your gifts, make a fun evening out of it. The more the merrier.
Santa slipped me my new years slipper! I am obsessed with Anne Klein, if you have't realized yet, it is just a matter of time. I hope everyone had a beautiful Christmas full of love, happiness and gratitude knowing you are surround by those who love you. MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
