Once upon a time there was a guy named Derek who decided to explore the magic of cocktails. He experimented and worked long and hard to come up with the perfect creations. After a while, this boozy interest evolved into what is now known as the Drink Company! This enchanted company is now known for transforming bars into magical creations, as well as transforming the the way we look at and sip an adult beverage. He has also provided a home base and community for his cocktail loving fans who enjoy these creative popup bars! I am pleased to give you the newest popup bar... Pub Grimm!
This year Drink Company is showcasing the darker side of the Brother's Grimm classic fairy tales with their latest masterpiece, PUB GRIMM! Swing by and see for yourself! The over-the-top ghoulish decor will transport you out of D.C. and into the settings of your favorite childhood fairy tales.
HAPPILY EVER AFTER
Have a seat in this royal chair as you sip on your "glass slipper" cocktail awaiting to see if the shoe fits (don't worry - no evil step-mother will make you chop off your toes in case it doesn't, like you may remember from the Brothers Grimm tale!). This classic story of Cinderella has come to life at Pub Grimm. Enjoy this great insta moment before the clock strikes midnight and you turn into a pumpkin!
The three connecting bars offer an array of mystical and magical fairy tales waiting to be seen. Wander cautiously as you sprinkle some bread crumbs along the way and keep an eye out for the zany-characters lurking in the bar. Stay clear of the big bad wolf and if you stumble upon the witch from Snow White, don't take one of her poison apples, order up "The Fairest Apple" from the bartender instead and enjoy this seasonal delight!
Another fun cocktail to try is the "Frog Prince"! But don't worry, this prince (or bartender) won't kiss you back. And if your boo isn't around this halloween, bring your fave ghoul-friend and get glamorous in this spooktacular photo booth. Remember, if you don't get a picture, it never happened.. so be sure to document your frightful night in style!
