Outfit Ideas That are Just the Right Amount of Honky-Tonk (for when you're in Nashville)

Hey guys! Hope your week is starting out great! My summer has been quite busy and my fall is looking to be the same! I just got back form Nantucket, which is one of my new favorite places so be sure to stay tuned for my upcoming post on that. But, more recently, I did however make my way to Nashville for a long girls weekend and had an absolute blast!

I haven't been to Nashville before and knew I'd have to spruce up my wardrobe a tad, so I did a little shopping! I'm the type of person who loves dressing up for any occasion, especially when I'm on vacation or traveling somewhere. I got all my outfits from Forever 21 for under $200 (2 pairs of shoes and hat included) if you can believe it. Whoever says you can't ball on a budget is mistaken. I'm here to share my amazing finds with you incase you are planning your very own Nashville trip or just looking to add a little "southern" charm to your wardrobe.

FLORAL PRINT MINI DRESS

Metallic Trim Fedora
Floral Print Mini Dress
Faux Leather Burnished-Strap Booties

This dress (size: S) was a great choice for my girls weekend in Nash. It has a southern flare to it, while still remaining delicate and feminine. It is light and comfortable and can be paired with a hat and/or leather boots (which I have done) to create a more "edgy" look. The hat (one size) literally goes well with all the outfits I bought. I love hats, because they are a fun way to enhance any look and the best accessory to add if you're having a bad hair day. As for the leather boots.. may I say more? If you like my look, click on the items above and be redirected to Forever 21's correlating page to purchase. Even if you don't have a honky-tonk weekend coming up, these items will be the perfect addition to your fall attire.

VIBIN' & THRIVIN'

Floral Print Shirt
Zip-Fly Corduroy Pants
Faux Suede Ankle Boots

I know, I know.. bell-bottoms? Well, I do believe they're making a comeback, especially when you're in the right environment, which I consider Nashville to be. Even though I took a bit of a risk with this look, I really do like how this outfit came together. I played with both patterns and textures. My brown corduroy bell-bottoms (size S) fit like a glove and were the perfect length for us petite ladies out there. My light and floral blouse (size S) added the right amount of dimension to the overall look and was cool and airy. I think it's fun to dress up, and encourage you all to do the same, but don't forget the most important accessory, in my opinion, which is confidence. Be sure to never leave the house without it.

CROCHET-TRIM MINI DRESS

Crochet-Trim Mini Dress

I love this crochet dress! It's an adorable outfit that can pair perfectly with a jean jacket or look great on its own! My dress (size S) is fun and flirty and makes me feel great when wearing it. If you like this look it's still available at Forever21 for only $34.90.

OLE-RANGE

Crinkled Flounce Button-Front Top
Wide Leg Pants

This is probably my favorite look out of them all! I am obsessed with these orange (size S) wide leg pants. They have a flattering cut and are easy to move around in. I paired these pants with Forever 21's white sheer crop top that complimented the pants perfectly. This is another example of how playing with textures can work in your favor.

I hope you enjoyed my outfit ideas that are just the right amount of honky-tonk (for when you're in Nashville). Never be hesitant to dress up for an occasion, or vacation because life's a party, dress like it!
