My Top 8 DC Spots to Drink Wine

Happy Wine Down Wednesday and Happy May 1st! I can't believe April has already come and gone! Life seems to be moving at an even faster pace than usual and I think we can all agree that when we hit the middle of the week, a full glass of wine sounds pretty delightful. Pour yourself a glass and check out my top 8 DC spots to drink wine.

Barcelona Wine Bar:

This is one of my absolute favorite restaurants! This DC social pad is the hottest spot to be at. Barcelona has some of the tastiest tapas, best wines and coolest atmosphere. You can either wine inside, outside or at the bar, but no matter where you decide to sit, I can ensure you'll be happy. Mondays may be one of my favorite nights to go because they offer 1/2 priced bottles of wine. What can be better than that?? It's time to clear your Monday night and start the week off right sipping on a glass that fits your fancy.

Primrose:

Looking for a quant, chic spot with a splash of pizazz? Primrose certainly checks all the boxes. This French inspired wine bar offers wine that is not only raw, but untouched coming directly from the field to the cellar to your glass. With that being said, sit back, relax and enjoy a bottle in this turquoise, delicately lit feathery wonderland.

This traditional wine bar is located on Pennsylvania avenue in Georgetown. This two-story wine bar is a great spot to enjoy a delicious cheese board and glass of wine after a full day of shopping or afternoon roaming around Georgetown. If you're unsure of what wine to order up, don't fret. ENO has a great flight selection to choose from which can help narrow down your search and aid in finding the perfect glass.

Pembroke:

This charming, instagramable restaurant is new to town and making a grand first impression. Pembroke opened earlier this year and has easily become one of my favorite spots! Their bright, elegant decor combined with floor to ceiling windows give off an abundance of natural light making it a splendid environment to sip on a glass of white, red or rose.
