One interesting thing you may not know about me is that I absolutely LOVE fresh starts. I love New Years, my birthday, Mondays (I know, crazy) and the start of each month. Each of these to me symbolize new opportunities, a clean slate, and a chance to start fresh, while creating new goals and striving to be the best I can be. It is important to constantly challenge and push yourself to grow and learn. Try taking one week or month and make a moderate list of things you want to accomplish. Having this list will hold you accountable and drive you to work harder to cross the select items you choose off your list. I promise you, at the end of the week or month, after everything has been crossed off your list, you will feel satisfied and accomplished. Give it try, why not. WHAT TO WEAR ? PLANNING AHEAD MAKES THE MORNINGS MORE DELIGHTFUL
Have you ever woke up late and just threw on the easiest outfit you could find? - OR - Do you ever look into your completely full closet and still feel like you have nothing to wear? I am guilty of both and luckily found a solution that works for me and may work for you. After a few mornings of this happening, I knew it was time to make a change. Granted, life will get in the way some nights but if you're able to find routine, your mornings may be a little more enjoyable. Set aside a couple minutes every weekday night where you can calmly look in your closet and select an outfit for the following day. Lay it out, find the shoes you want to wear as well as the accessories and put it all neatly together. In the morning, all you will have to do is wake up happy, start your coffee and leisurely get ready. It is one less thing you need to worry about in the morning. You will feel better, look more put together, and just feel relieved knowing your planned outfit, shoes and accessories are ready to go.
Remember always dress to impress! Reasons why:
1. For yourself first and foremost
2. You never know who you may meet or run into
3. Just makes you feel good

YOU CAN NEVER GO WRONG WITH RED LIPS
I am a huge fan of lipstick and believe it to be the perfect finishing touch to any look. I have an olive complexion and stick to nudes, pinks and reds. In the winter months, you may catch me puckering up with a darker lip but for the most part my lips are happily content rotating those 3 shades. I have a few brands that are my staple when it comes to lip color. MAC, NYX and Anastasia. Being a "matted" kinda girl, I don't get too involved with many glosses. Above is my red matted SUPER CLIQUEY by NYX. It is easy to apply and when you start to run low, all you have to do is click the bottom a few times. Voila!
INVISIBLE, YET UNFORGETTABLE ACCESSORY
[gallery columns="1" size="full" link="file" ids="1771,1780,1770"]I am extremely adamant about my perfume. "The nose is a fine judge." A woman's perfume is definitely the icing on the cake. Once you have on your perfect outfit, hair in place, makeup on... all that's left is your invisible accessory. Having a lovely scent is important. Because smell is one of the primary senses, if you find a fragrance you consistently wear, you better believe you will make a lasting impression.
SMALL TOUCHES CAN TRANSFORM A ROOM:

Whether we are taking a shower or a bath, doing our hair or makeup or just popping in to give our self that last minute look before we head out the door, it is for sure one of the most frequently visited rooms in our house or apartment. With that being said, I am a firm believer in making these spaces adorable and inviting. Bath towels, bath rug, candles, shower curtains are all affordable and can add some pizzazz to any bathroom. My bathroom items were purchased from World Market (love that store), Bed Bath and Beyond and Target. You don't have to find all your decorations in one store either. The key is to make sure all the items blend well and go together but they can essentially come from a variety of places. I personally like searching for and figuring out how I can make all my favorite decorative items go together.
CLEANLINESS IS KEY
Sometimes us ladies get a bad rep for being messy or disorganized, so after you get all pampered make sure to prove those stereotypes wrong by keeping your adorable spaces tidy and neat. I hope you are having a very happy February 1st! Set some goals this month and try making your mornings easier by pre-planning your next day’s outfit. Remember, small touches can transform a room and dressing to impress can, and will boost your whole mood. February is short and SWEET so make it worth while! If things don't go exactly as planned, do not worry this is only Chapter 2 of 12.
